Soggy Civic Week

An amazing start to the civic week activities with the final of the Blackburn Schools have Talent.  An amazing performance from everyone who took part in this event. Our outstanding winner of the night was Gabriela Gwardecker.  A primary 2 pupil from Our Lady of Lourdes who was singing “How will I go” from Moana

Unfortunately the rest of the civic week got of to a soggy start with the Treasure hunt and 5-A-sides been cancelled. However, these will be rescheduled at a later date

The bike obstacle course which was sponsored by Mr & Mrs Nicolson was a great success.  This event just gets bigger each year.

The numbers were down this year at the kids discos however the weather was a big factor in this but thank you to everyone that braved the rain to come along. Thanks to Ann and lesley-Ann Byers for sponsoring this event

Well done to Our lady of Lourdes who won this years Interschool quiz.  A very tense evening and thank you to everyone that came along to support the children
